Most days I see her she is stocking the shelves
We stop and talk of little things
She told me once she loved to paint in pastels

It seemed to me she liked her work in the store
So just what’s wrong is hard to say
But she’s been missing couple weeks, maybe more

But he moved out and went back home
All he left her was their old ornery cat

She could not afford the plane
